Gokarna...Mini Paradise...Max Fun (Part II)

Great place to trek for going from om beach to half moon and further to paradise you can either rent a boat or choose to trek We started trekking along the well paved path starting from Kudle beach towards om beach... After reaching Om beach we decided to take a one sided boat which would cover all the beaches i.e. half moon and paradise and show us a watch-tower and dolphin point turnout based on luck. (500INR) On reaching our final point i.e. Paradise beach we asked our boatman to drop us there...which he was reluctant to he refused to take us close to the beach and said if we get down there its an impossible trek back to Om beach..he maid all possible excuses to make us drop the idea but we insisted.. And finally here we are... The reason why the boatman was reluctant was clear soon... Yes...its a nude beach! INDEED! After resting, eating and playing in water we decided to take the aforementioned impossible trek back to Om beach via half mo...

I visited Gokarna,Karnataka...one of the most beautiful place I have seen in my travelling life of around 17 years. It is a must visit with your partner,friends...but not with Indian parents ;) Go through the blog and help your self with useful information in the first part and in the second part enjoy  my journey vicariously with the pics and the story. Budget:  Under 5k per person Duration:  2 days to forever  How to reach? By Train Gokarna Road (GOK) is the nearest station, around 10 kms away from the town. Its a petite two platform station that too where platforms are lower than regular platforms. But its surprisingly well maintained, equipped with cc TV cameras and with frequent visit by tourists its a safe platform(even for girls) to land even late at night.  It is not very well connected of course as its a small town, but there are direct trains from Mumbai and Bangalore.
